The engne optons avalable for your boat have
been selected as the best suted for general use
for ths sze boat. Do not nstall an engne larger
than the largest opton avalable. your boat wll be
difficult to handle and will be less stable.
your Baja ® has been equpped wth a propeller whch
our tests have shown to be the best suted for general
use wth your engne under normal condtons and
load. Do not change the ptch of your propeller
without getting your dealer's recommendations first.
If you change to a dfferent propeller ptch, under
no crcumstances use a propeller whch allows the
engne to operate at hgher than recommended
RPM. (Your engine manual specifies the maximum
recommended RPM.)
To mantan rated power, propellers should be
free of ncks, excessve pttng and any dstortons
that alter them from ther orgnal desgn. Badly
damaged propellers should be replaced, but those
that are chpped, bent or merely out of shape can
be recondtoned by your marne dealer.
It s advsable to carry an extra propeller aboard n
case you damage the one n use.

Your boat was manufactured to specific stability
and flotation standards for the capacity shown
on the certification plate. Any increase from the
recommended load capactes wll put your boat n
jeopardy of capszng, swampng and/or snkng.
• The number of seats does not ndcate how
many people a boat can safely carry n poor
weather and rough water.
• above dle speed, all passengers must be
seated on the seats provded.

Never carry more weight or passengers than
indicated on the certification plate, regardless of
weather or water conditions.
The boat can capsize, swamp or sink.
When engine is running, keep passengers away from
areas not designed for riding, such as seat backs,
bow, gunwales, transom platform, front and rear
decks and on sun pads.
Passengers can fall overboard if not seated properly
on the seats provided.
