To map drives to these areas without using the Magnia SG20
"Client Setup- and Documentation CD", follow the
instructions based on your operating system.
Mapping drives using the Windows 95 and Windows 98
operating system

Double-click the Network Neighborhood icon on the
Desktop.

In the Network Neighborhood window, double-click the
Magnia SG20 icon (usually labeled “Myserver”).

Click the folder labeled Personal.

From the File menu, select Map Network Drive….

Select from the drop-down list the drive letter you wish to
map to your personal folder on the Magnia SG20, select
the Reconnect at logon check box, and click OK.

Repeat steps 3-5 to map the folder labeled Public.
Mapping drives using the Windows Me operating system

Double-click the My Network Places icon on the
Windows Desktop.

The Network Places window appears.

From the Tools menu, select Map Network Drive….

In the box labeled Drive, select from the drop-down list
the letter you wish to map to your personal folder on the
Magnia SG20.

In the box labeled Path, type
\\Myserver\personal
.
If the name of your Magnia SG20 has been changed from
the default “Myserver,” substitute the new name.

Check the Reconnect at logon check box, and click OK.
7
Repeat steps 1-6 to map the public drive. For the path
name type
\\Myserver\public.
