Connecting to the Internet

❖ Use the public Ethernet port for a broadband connection
(such as cable or DSL) or a corporate LAN. See
“Broadband connection” on page 36 for detailed
instructions.
❖ If broadband access is not available, you may connect the
server to a phone line and use a dial-up, phone-based ISP
(Internet Service Provider). See
“Dial-up connection” on
page 37 for detailed instructions.
NOTE: If you do not already have access to the Internet in some
way, you will need to obtain an account with an Internet Service
Provider.
