A message saying "The Microsoft Dial-up Adaptor is not
installed or it does not respond correctly" is displayed and
the connection is cut off
The Dial-up Adaptor and the TCP/ IP are not installed.
Please follow the steps below to install them:
1. Open the Control Panel and double click on Network.
The
Network
screen appears.
2. In the Configuration tab, check if the following components are
listed as installed network components.
• Dial-up
Adaptor
• TCP/ IP
3. If the Dial-up Adaptor or TCP/ IP are not displayed, click on the
Add
button.
The Select Network Component Type screen appears.
4. Add the Dial-up Adaptor and TCP/ IP.
5. Adding the TCP/ IP.
6. Click on Protocol and click on the Add button.
The
Select Network Protocol
screen appears.
7. Select Microsoft in Manufacturer and select TCP/ IP in Network
Protocols
.
8. Adding the Dial-up Adaptor.
9. Click on Adaptor and click on the Add button.
The
Select Network Adaptor
screen appears.
10. Select Microsoft in Manufacturer and select Dial-up Adaptor in
Network Adaptors
.
11. Click on the OK button.
You return to the Network screen.
12. Click on the OK button
13. Follow the instructions and restart the computer
