Wireless and Network Settings
Wi-Fi
Turning Wi-Fi On or Off
1. Press and tap > Settings.
2. Tap the Wi-Fi OFF/ON slider to turn Wi-Fi
On or Off.
Wi-Fi Direct
Wi-Fi Direct allows device-to-device connections so
you can transfer data over a Wi-Fi connection.
1. Press and tap > Settings > Wi-Fi .
2. Tap the Wi-Fi OFF/ON slider to turn on
Wi-Fi.
3. Tap Wi-Fi Direct .

Advanced Wi-Fi Settings
Set up and manage wireless access points.
1. Press and tap > Settings > Wi-Fi , then tap
> Advanced .
2. Select one of the following:
Ⅲ Network Notification : alerts you when a new WAP
is available.
Ⅲ Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep : allows you to specify
when to disconnect from Wi-Fi. Options are:
Always, Only when plugged in, or Never
(increases data usage).
Ⅲ Check for Internet service : allows you to have the
phone check if Internet service is available when
connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Ⅲ Wi-Fi timer : allows you to enable or disable
automatic connections or disconnections from
Wi-Fi networks. When enabled, touch Wi-Fi timer
to set a starting and/or ending time.
Ⅲ MAC address : view your phone’s MAC address,
required when connecting to some secured
networks (not configurable).
Ⅲ IP address : view your phone’s IP address.
