Execute the following command to make sure that the physical volumes
that make up the volume group are HDLM devices.

Edit the /etc/lvm/lvm.conf file so that the LVM2 recognizes the SCSI
device, not the HDLM device.
The following shows an example of editing the /etc/lvm/lvm.conf file.
