The only regular maintenance task that should be periodically
performed is to run or replace the cleaning cartridge. There are User
Diagnostics on the Demo submenu that can be used to check the
operation of the 5157 ACL. Occasionally, new firmware is issued by
Compaq. Firmware upgrades must be performed by qualified service
personnel.
