1.3.1 Product Overview for the Himalya S-Series Cabinetry
The dimensions for the Himalya S-series Cabinetry base
enclosure are 37.6” (95.5 cm) x 22” (56 cm) x 32” (82 cm).
The Himalya S-series stackable enclosure dimensions are
71.7” (182.1 cm) x 22” (56 cm) x 32” (82 cm). The
cabinets can be purchased as a base enclosure or a stackable
enclosure. The cabinets will come without a door so drives
will be easily accessed. An ESD Rear Cover will be on the
back of the cabinets to protect the BEB and fiber cabling.
The bottom compartment in the base enclosure needs to be
left empty for stability and to avoid physical injury to
personnel during installation and operation. All units are
configured for the S-Series and are designed to fit both the
5157 drive and the 5157 ACL drive.
1.3.1.1 Configurations for the S-Series
The following are valid configurations for the S-Series:

For single units up to four 5157 drives or two 5157
ACL drives may be stored. Configuration can also
include a combination of the 5157 drive and 5157 ACL
drive.

For two high units, up to ten 5157 drives or five 5157
ACL drives may be stored. Configuration can also
include a combination of the 5157 drive and 5157 ACL
drive.
