7.5 Connect the Power Cord
To connect the power cord:
1. Be sure the 5157/5157 ACL Tape Subsystem power switch is
set to 0 (Off).
2. Connect the power cord to the 5157/5157 ACL power
connector. Make sure the connector is fully seated.
3. Connect the other end of the power cord to a nearby AC outlet.
7.6 Test the Installation

Tape Subsystem after installation. It includes the Power-On Self-
test (POST) and what occurs during and after POST.
Section 3.6, on page 3-10, describes how to test the 5157 Tape
