Running DTStat
You can run DTStat from the Storage Mirroring Text Client or from any command prompt.
Running DTStat from the text clients
To determine the status of DTStat or to stop or start it through the Text Client, use the
statslog status
,
statslog
start
, or
statslog stop
commands.

Command
STATSLOG START
Description
Starts the DTStats statistics logging utility.
Syntax
STATSLOG START <
machine
> [TO <
filename
>] [EVERY <
minute
>] [MAXSIZE <
kilobytes
>]
Options
machine
—Name of the machine
filename
—Any valid path and filename to which the statistical information will be logged
minutes
—The number of minutes to write to the log file
kilobytes
—The maximum file size in kilobytes
Examples
statslog start indy to dtstat.sts every 20 maxsize 200000
Notes
The default settings are
statistic.sts
.
The default interval is every
5
minutes.
The default file size is
10485760
bytes (
10
MB).
