MONITOR START

Description

The configured failover target starts monitoring the source machine that was designated as the
monitor.

Syntax

MONITOR START <

monitor

> [ON <

target_machine

>]

Options

monitor

—Name of the source machine designated as the monitor

‹

target_machine

—Name of the target machine that will be monitoring the source machine

Examples

monitor start indy on jersey

Notes

Machine names that contain non-alphanumeric characters must be enclosed in quotation marks.

Description

Stops monitoring the source machine for a failure

Syntax

MONITOR STOP <

monitor
