SMREVERT Utility Syntax
run-options
are the standard TACL process startup run options (a priority value of 180 is
suggested).
virtual-disk
is the name of the virtual disk to revert.
physical-disk
is the name of the physical disk for which logically named files are to be
transformed to direct files.
CHECKONLY
is an optional parameter that causes SMREVERT only to scan the disk and report
any problems. No conversion takes place. If problems are found, you are notified,
but not prompted to take any action.
NOCONVERTORPHANS
is an optional parameter that instructs SMREVERT not to convert the file labels of
any files that are not found in the name table of the virtual disk.
DETAIL
is an optional parameter that causes SMREVERT to display status and file
information during migration.
NOUPDATEANT
is an optional parameter that instructs SMREVERT not to update the name table of
the virtual disk during conversion. This option is useful if problems are encountered
during the update and you want to ignore the problems. See
AUTO
is an optional parameter that disallows any user confirmations.
MAXMEM
allocates the maximum extended segment for SMREVERT. Note that this might
limit the number of SMREVERT processes that can be run in parallel.
