Potentiometer

All potentiometers are non-latching and each
has 10 scale lines.

For starters and reversing starters without soft
start function, two potentiometers are
provided. The nominal current of the motor
can be set with the first potentiometer. With
reversing starters (SK 125E, SK 135E,
SK 165E and SK 175E) the second
potentiometer is used to set the locking time
for a change of direction of rotation.

The potentiometers are given non-linear characteristic curves by means of the software. Devices with soft
start function (SK 115E, SK 135E, SK 155E and SK 175E) also have potentiometers P3 and P4. These two
potentiometers are not accessible from the outside and therefore can only be adjusted with the housing
cover open.

For soft starters (not reversing soft starters) the deceleration time is set with P2 and the acceleration time is set with

P4. Otherwise, P4 is used to set the acceleration and deceleration times (SK 115 / SK 155).
