Enabled A BIOS timer which can only be shut down by the
Intel Management Software after the OS loads is
started. This helps determining that the OS is
successfully loaded or follows the OS Boot
Watchdog Timer policy.

Disabled D EFAULT Disables the OS Boot Watchdog timer.
NOTE:
The following two items will be available to configure when the OS
Watchdog Timer is enabled.
Î OS Wtd Timer Timeout [10 minutes]
Use the OS Wtd Timer Timeout option to set the OS Boot Watchdog timer expiration
value. The following values are available:
ƒ 5 minutes
ƒ 10 minutes Default
ƒ 15 minutes
ƒ 20 minutes
Î OS Wtd Timer Policy [Reset]
Use the OS Wtd Timer Policy option to configure how the system should respond if the
OS Boot Watchdog timer expires. The following options are available:
ƒ Do Nothing
ƒ Reset Default
ƒ Power Down
