Main Functions
1) I/O Communication among
Controllers
In IA Net, I/O communication among the connected
controllers is available. All the controllers can refer to the
data written in the shared memory area.
The output of one controller can be monitored by multiple
controllers simultaneously.
2) Connection of extension I/O
units
By using an extension I/O unit, the control of an I/O
device installed far from the controller can be performed
via IA Net.
I/O can be monitored by multiple controllers at the same
time. The output slots of the extension I/O unit may be
assigned to and controlled by different XSEL controllers.
Only one XSEL controller can control the output of a
specific extension I/O slot.
3) Connection of XSEL PC
Software via IA Net
(This is not applicable for teaching
pendants.)
The PC software for XSEL connected to one unit of
controller can be connected with other controllers by
remote connection.
Note It is not able to edit the position data in and refer to
RC Gateway function.
