The Stereo Routing button allows defining default audio routing options for all
new clips added to a stereo track in the timeline. These default routing options are
defined for each stereo track, and are not available with 5.1 tracks. If the button
text is colored, it means that a routing option has been defined.
To define the audio routing, click the button to open the Default Audio Mode dialog
box. Then select one of the possible settings:
Once you have defined the routing options:

You will be asked whether you want to apply them to the clips present in the
timeline (after confirming your choice).
•
The options will automatically be applied to the new clips added to the
timeline.

The Zoom button expands the selected audio track in a Zoom view. In the Zoom
view, you can perform the following actions:
•
Adjust cross fades on transitions (see 10.2.7 on page 182)
•
Adjust audio levels of clips (see 10.4 on page 185)
•
View the clip wave forms generated via the Get audio waveform command in
the contextual menu (see 10.5.1 ‘How to Generate the Waveform of an Audio
