From IPDirector V5.8, you can include XT clips or files, or even virtual elements
(playlist elements whose content is not yet available on the XNet or GigE network)
in playlists. This brings much more variety in the way users can manage playlists
in IPDirector.
This section gives you an overview on the possible ways to manage playlists in
IPDirector, which mainly depends on:
•
where the media to be added to the playlist is stored, and whether it is already
available when the playlist is created.
•
which use you will make of your playlist once it has been created.
