2. Configure the EAP-TLS authentication settings as required:
EAP-TLS/RADIUS
When enabled, the access point assumes the role
of authenticator. The access point proxies the
MU’s requests to authenticate with the EAP server.
Default is Disabled.
Quiet Period
The time the access point waits before attempting
to acquire an MU. Default is 60 seconds.
Tx Period
Defines the length of time the access points waits
for an MU’s response once the access point
requests an MUs identity. Default is 30 seconds.
Re-authentication When enabled, the access point forces the MU to
re-authenticate after the re-authentication period.
Default is Enabled.
Re-auth Period
Defines the length of time a MU is waits before
initiating re-authentication attempts.
Default is 3600 seconds.
Re-auth Max
Defines the number of MU re-authentications
attempts permitted. Default is 2. If exceeded, the
access point fails MU re-authentication.
Supplicant
Timeout
Time permitted for a response from the
authenticating MU. Default is 30 seconds.
Server Timeout
Time permitted for a response from the EAP-TLS
authentication server. Default is 30 seconds.
Max Req Retries
Defines the maximum number of times an access
point re-transmits an EAP request. Default is 2.
IAS Name/IP
Address
Name or IP address of the authentication server.
Backup IAS
Name/IP
Name or IP address of the backup authentication
server.
IAS Password
The shared secret password between the access
point and authentication server.
