Restoring the Factory Settings for Ethernet
There may be times when you are unable to use the current configuration of the Ethernet
interface. (Note: This could be because you have lost the password for your Printer or you
just cannot get it to work properly.)
Resetting the settings
The has a menu selection that allows the User names and passwords to revert to default. To
reset these settings, select:
Menu: Setup Printer : Network Settings : Reset Passwords.
Changing the LCD Network Settings
The Printer/encoder will display new menu entries when (a) the Ethernet option is installed
and (b) the Printer has established communications to a host device.
• You can use these procedures to change network settings by using the new LCD menus.
Accessing the Network Setup Menu
Step Procedure

Apply power to the Printer.

Ensure that the Printer is connected to your network.

Wait up to one (1) minute to allow the Printer to configure the IP address.
4 Select
Options on the LCD.
5 Select
Menu on the LCD.
6 Select
the
Next button on the LCD until the Network Settings menu entry
appears.
7 Press Select when Network Settings appears on the LCD.
