1.1.2 Remote controller
The remote controller provides for armchair control of the display unit. It has six
keys, all of which may be programmed by the user.

Note: When programming the or key,
make a mental note of their programs,
as there is no space on the remote
controller for recordings its program.
Remote controller
The default key functions are as below.
Key Function

Enter a waypoint with the next consecutive waypoint
number at the own ship (or cursor) position.
B Same as pressing the [ENTER] knob on the control panel.
C Same as [CLEAR] key function.
D Same as [1] key function.
Same as [ZOOM IN] key function.
Same as [ZOOM OUT] key function.
For how to program the remote controller, see paragraph 9.5.2. You can
program other function to each key. (See paragraph 9.5.2.) Record the function
name on the label on the remote controller, using an oil-based felt-tip pen.
