Format Disk
This screen lets you format a ZIP 100 disk to
prepare it for usage in the system. You can press

Quick Format

1=Quick Format
3=Full Format
You can press then release

1 to quick format
(reset the basic file structure, about 3 seconds) or

3 to fully format (erase and initialize the entire
disk surface, about 10 minutes). If you press then

1 for quick formatting, it will show the

When the formatting is totally finished, the

will go through the initial diagnostic testing, and test

Copy Prompts
This screen lets you copy the outgoing message
and TAD prompts from one disk to another disk; it
will show the following:

3=Next Option
NOTE: Make sure you have already formatted
the COPY ZIP disk (See

to go to the next screen.

Put COPY into

Now take that MASTER disk out and insert the
COPY disk. After some initial setup, it will show
the following:
Put MASTER into
-- Zip Drive—
Now take the COPY disk out and put
(MASTER disk back in and keep swapping disks, as
indicated, until it finishes copying.
