Web Interface

Net Mask

The Wi-MGR is shipped with a default Subnet Mask of

255.255.255.0. Contact your IT Department for an appropriate

Subnet Mask, if you wish to change this field.

Default subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Def Route

The Wi-MGR is shipped with a default Gateway Route of 10.0.0.1.

Contact your IT Department for an appropriate Default Gateway, if

you wish to change this field.

Default device route: 10.0.0.1

Tcp Max Seg Size

The Wi-MGR defaults to 1436 packet size for web page data. Users

may select 536 for limited bandwidth or VPN applications.

Default: 1436

Http Port

Some ISPs use alternate http ports as an added security measure.

Edit this field in accordance with your ISPs security settings.

Default: 0 = Port 80

Web User Name

If this field is left blank, the Wi-MGR’s default user name is fds (all

lower case). Users can enter a user name up to 18 characters,

either alpha, numeric, or a combination of the two. The Wi-MGR

user name is case sensitive.

Default username: fds

Web Password Read

Only

Two separate passwords can be configured on the Wi-MGR.

The Read Only password allows users to access the Wi-MGR’s

web interface and view the conditions of the system, but does not

allow users to make changes to the Wi-MGR’s configuration.

Web Password

Read/Write

The second configurable password on the Wi-MGR provides users

with expanded access.

The Read/Write password allows users to view the conditions of the

system and make changes to the Wi-MGR’s configuration.

Web Refresh Rate

The Web Refresh Rate is the amount of time the system waits until

it updates the Web interface with current data. To change the rate,

click in the field and type in the desired amount of time (in seconds).

The minimum recommended refresh rate is five seconds;

otherwise, errors may occur that prevent the system from

functioning properly.

The default refresh rate is set to 0 - the Wi-MGR will not refresh at

all. Users must set a refresh rate in order for the system to

automatically update.
