Managing the Other Controller
The following can be done while in Active-Active mode:
Display information about the other controller.
Shut down the other controller.
Shut down both controllers.
Change array ownership.
Kill the other controller.
Unkill the other controller.
Displaying Information about the Other Controller
This function allows the user to display information about the other controller (if the other
controller is up). If the other controller is down, the information will reflect the last known state
of the other controller. If there was never any communication between the two controllers,
then most fields will list "Unknown" or something similar.
To display information about the other controller:
1. Select Other Controller Menu from the System Menu and press Enter.
The Other Controller Menu is only available if the system is configured to run in Active-
Active Mode.
The Other Controller Menu should now display (Figure 63).
