DUBBING THE WHOLE TAPE
When an original tape is dubbed onto another tape rated at the
same recording time, the back side of the recording tape may not
be an exact dupiicate of the back side of the original tape.
This is because there are differences in actual recording times
between tapes, since each tape has a bit more time than indicated
on the iabei. This time varies with each brand.
This unit’s STSD function ailows you to make exact copies of both
sides of the original tape.
1 Press the TAPE/DECK1/2 button.

be recorded on into deck 2.

The tapes are rewound to the beginning of their front sides, and
then recording starts. After the recording of the front side ends,
the back sides of both tapes will start at the same time as soon
as the longer tape has been reversed (STSD function).

of the tape is broken off.
• If the leader segment of the dubbing tape is longer than that of the
original tape, recording on the back side may stop midway
through the recording. In this case, dub each side manually
following the procedure in “RECORDING FROM TAPE TOTAPE
MANUALLY”.
