Viewing Statistics

WinJournal allows you to view real-time word
usage statistics for any entries or journals.
To view these statistics:
1 Select a journal or entry in the Journals
Pane.
2 From the Tools menu, select Statistics.
3 A Statistics dialog appears.
Statistics includes:
• Words in this entry:
• Characters in this entry:
• Total words in selected entries:
• Total entries in selected journals:
• Average words per entry:
Note: The "Count" column represents the
frequency with which individual words
appear in the selected entries or journals.
Note: Word frequencies only work with
Roman text.

Click OK when you are finished.
Note: You can view Statistics for all nested
journals within a parent journal by clicking
on the parent journal and selecting Statistics.
