Fail Safe/Battery Fail Safe Function "F/S"
(Preparation)
- Select the channel to be set by (JOG) button up or down op-
eration.

(Servo position setup)
When the fail safe function operates, the steering wheel,
the throttle trigger or 3rd channel dial remains in the desired
operation position. When the (+) and (-) buttons are pressed
simultaneously for about 1 second, the servo position is dis-
played and you can confirm that the function was set.
When you want to release the setting, press the (+) or (-)
button for 1 second. "HOLD" is displayed.
(Each channel can be set similarly.)

When ending setting, return to the initial screen by pressing
the (END) button twice (for direct selection, press the (END)
button once).

- Select the setting item "MODE" by (JOG) button up or down
operation.

(Battery fail safe function ON/OFF)
The function can be switched by pressing the (+) or (-) but-
ton.

When ending setting, return to the initial screen by pressing
the (END) button twice (for direct selection, press the (END)
button once).
Battery fail safe function ON/OFF (PCM only)
The fail safe function cannot be used in the PPM mode. When
the F/S screen is called, ("NO RELATION"), which shows that
this function cannot be used, is displayed.
PPM mode F/S screen
(HRS mode F/S screen)
(PPM mode F/S screen)
The HRS mode F/S screen "HOLD" display shows that the
fail safe setting is OFF. The position immediately before
reception becomes impossible like PCM mode “HOLD” is
not held. The battery fail safe setting is not displayed. When
throttle fail safe is set, the battery fail safe function is also
activated and cannot be turned off.
