Attach the foam to the top cover.
If you normally have the counter cable installed in your K2, re-install it now.
When you re-install top cover assembly on your K2, we recommend you place it down, then slide it
forward. Don’t rotate it down into place as this may tend to compress or distort the foam.
When properly installed, the foam will be just behind the DSPx module, preventing it from disengaging
from the KDSP2.

On the forward edge of the heatsink, centered on the speaker, you will install the gray foam. This is ¼”
wide. Do not use the black foam! It is for the regular K2 cover.
Ensure the heatsink is clean.
Ensure the heat sink is near room temperature. The adhesive doesn’t work as well when it is cold.
Remove the backing from the foam.
