Step 12
Use your radio to retract the landing gear and place
the landing gear assembly on the mounting rails
in the wing. The retract unit, coil spring and base
should be centered in their respective cutouts.

Step 13
Use a pencil to mark the mounting holes on the rails.

Step 14
Remove the retract and drill the mounting holes in
the rails with a 5/64-inch drill bit in a pin vise.

Step 15
Apply 1–2 drops of thin CA to each of the mounting
holes to strengthen the wood. Allow the CA to cure
completely without using accelerator.

Step 16
Feed the servo wire through the wing to exit at the
center section with the aileron and flap servo leads.

Step 17
Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to install the retract
with four #4 x 7/16-inch countersunk wood screws.

Step 18
Perform steps 1 through 17 to install the retract in
the opposite wing.
