Step 2
Mark the mounting hole locations with a pencil.

Step 3
Use a 5/64-inch drill bit in a pin vise to drill the holes.

Step 4
Apply a drop of thin CA to each hole to strengthen
the wood. Allow the CA to cure completely without
using accelerator.

Step 5
Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to install the landing
gear with four #4 x 7/16-inch countersunk wood
screws.

Step 1
Use a ruler to measure 4 13/16 inches from the
mounting surface of the retractable nose gear and
make a mark on the gear leg with a felt-tipped pen.
