IMT and SCSI cards
• 141
If you try to run a non-Windows 2000 compatible version of WinCue Pro News with an
IMT card that has the new version 2.00 ROMs installed on it you will get a SCSI error
when you try to run the WinCue Pro News software.
If Windows continues to find multiple IMT cards or if the IMT card is shown as an
unknown device use the following instructions.
On the WinCue Pro News CD there should be a file called imtcard2.inf. To install this
go to the Windows Control Panel and click on System, then select Hardware and
then Device Manager. If the IMT card is shown as an unknown device right-click on it
and select Properties, then Drivers and then Install. Make sure that you select the
imtcard2.inf driver when asked to.
When you have done this you will then see a Broadcast Hardware option in the
Device Manager as shown below.
This should correct any problems that you are having with the IMT card, if not
contact Autocue Technical Support and they will find a solution to your problem.

Other SCSI Conditions
SCSI Hard disks on the same SCSI BUS as IMT Card:
Certain drives do things to the SCSI bus that prevents the IMT card from working,
particularly SCSI drives from Micropolis, Quantum and Western Digital. Some drives
should work providing the SCSI address (ID) of the IMT card is higher (a lower number)
than the SCSI disk, e.g. IMT address (ID) is 3 then hard disk is 4 or above. Drives that
should work are Seagate, O'Connor and IBM.
