11.1
PowerPoint Automation
WinCue has the ability to trigger Microsoft PowerPoint slides whilst prompting a
script; this particular feature has proved extremely useful in delivering presentations
and conferences. This document will explain how to set-up and use this feature. It is
assumed that a WinCue Pro News prompter machine, with scroll control, is already
set-up and that you are familiar with the WinCue Pro News program.
11.1.1 Licensing
Before you can set-up WinCue to trigger Microsoft PowerPoint slides, you have to
make sure that your WinCue license has PowerPoint Agent enabled. To find this out,
click on the Help menu in WinCue and select About, an About dialog box will
appear, from here click on the License tab and a list of everything enabled in your
license will appear. If you find PowerPoint Agent within this list, then you will be able
to set-up PowerPoint automation through WinCue, if not contact your WinCue
Supplier to see about having this feature enabled.
