XI. WARRANTY/SERVICE INFORMATION

Waters Corporation warrants its guard cartridges and guard holders in accordance with the
following terms and conditions:

Waters will replace without cost, any guard cartridge or guard holder that fails to perform
satisfactorily, if notified within 90 days from your receipt. To return guard cartridges and
guard holders, the user must have a Return Authorization Number granted by the Waters
Technical Service Department.

Approval is subject to the following exclusions:

1. Physical damage to the guard cartridge or guard holder because of misuse or abuse.

2. Damage to the guard cartridge or guard holder because of use with incompatible

solvents or use at incorrect temperatures or pressures.

3. Failure or decreased performance as a consequence of normal use.
