Inserting the filter slide

Wavelength: Enter the filter wavelength in the following area.
(1) Fluorescence intensity mode: 230 to 600 nm (excitation) and 280 to 600 nm (emission).
(2) Absorbance mode: 230 to 1000 nm. Enter the bandwidth (nm) of the filter.
(3) Click on Save to adopt the new filter values.
As soon as the Filter definition window is closed, the system is ready to record data with the new filters.
Description: In this field, comments on the filter can be entered by the corresponding user, e.g., filter
name, application, etc.
Purchase date: The user can enter the purchase or installation date of the filter here.
Flash counter reading: The flash counter monitors the number of flashes using a filter. The flash counter
reading only provides the user with information on the filter currently in use. The flash counter reading and
other information on the filter are saved on the filter slide microchip.
We recommend to document the last flash counter reading manually as this information may
otherwise be lost during a filter change.
