2.6 Absorbance measurement system
A light path similar to the one used for fluorescence excitation is implemented for absorbance
measurements. The absorbance measurement module is located below the plate compartment. It measures
the light that is transmitted through the sample. A reference measurement, during which the plate
compartment is positioned outside of the light beam, is carried out before the microplate is measured.
