Shooting with AF Assist Light
Use this procedure to enable the assist light to fire when shooting still
photography of subjects in dark places.
1. From the recording menu, use the jog dial to select [AF ASSIST LIGHT]
and press the OK button.
2. Use the jog dial to select [ON] or [OFF] and press the OK button.
The AF assist light is set and the
recording menu reappears.
To cancel the setting, press the MENU
button.
ON : The AF assist light fires to help
focus still photography of
subjects in dark places.
OFF : The AF assist light does not
fire.
