The LCD
monitor is
difficult to
see.

The LCD monitor
brightness setting is
wrong.

Specify an “LCD
BRIGHTNESS” setting
that makes the LCD
monitor easier to see.

Resetting
does not
restore
some
settings.

Resetting does not
restore the default
settings for Drive &
Album, the white
balance presets, or
language and date and
time settings.

buttons
work.

A system error has
occurred.

Slide the POWER switch
across and hold it in
place for at least 5
seconds. Note that this
may result in the loss of
any files that are being
created. Settings such
as the date and time
may also revert to their
default values. In this
event, reset the settings
before using the camera
again.

Operation is
slow.

Too many images are
stored on the hard disk
drive.

Erase some images.

Edit some videos.

Move some images to a
different drive or onto a
PC.
