PRINTER COVER
OPEN Printer’s front door is
open and must be
closed. Close the front door.
PUT X IN TRAY Y SIZE Put X (paper or media
type) in Tray Y (Tray 1
or 2 as specified).
Install the correct media
size or type into the tray
specified.

SIZE MISMATCH The media size set
with the printer driver

size of media loaded. Install the correct media

being duplexed. Use the correct media

duplexing.
TONER EMPTY
COLOR The COLOR (specified
color) toner cartridge
is empty. Replace the toner
cartridge. (Engine/
Replace Toner)
TRAY X EMPTY Tray X (Tray 1 or 2)
was specified with the
printer driver for
printing, but Tray X is
empty. Install media into the
tray specified.
TRAY 2
NOT ATTACHED Tray 2 was specified
with the printer driver
for printing, but Tray 2
is not attached to the
printer. Stop the print job, and
then either change the
printer driver setting or
attach Tray 2 to the
printer.
TRAY 2 LOW Tray 2 is almost out of
media. Prepare more media to
replenish the tray.
WASTE: NEAR FULL The waste toner
bottle is nearly full. Install a new waste toner
bottle.
