2.9 Optional system functions
CentricStor is available in a variety of configuration levels, in each of which further
customer-specific extensions (e.g. larger disk cache) are possible.
In addition to the basic configuration, optional functions are available which allow you to
customize the CentricStor functionality to suit your needs:
● Compression
● Multiple library support
● Dual Save
● Extending virtual drives
● System administrator’s edition
● Fibre channel connection for load balancing and redundancy
● Automatic VLP failover
● Cache Mirroring Feature
● Accounting
These optional system functions are released by means of key disks.
