ENABLE SNTP

Syntax

enable sntp

Parameters

None.

Description

This command is used to enable the SNTP client. When the SNTP client is
enabled, the switch or stack obtains its date and time from an SNTP
server whenever the unit is powered on or reset. To specify the IP address
of the server, refer to “ADD SNTPSERVER PEER|IPADDRESS” on
page 114. The default setting for the SNTP client is disabled.

Example

The following command enables the SNTP client:

enable sntp

the AlliedWare Plus command in “ADD SNTPSERVER
PEER|IPADDRESS” on page 114.
