3. To display the low alarm threshold for a weather condition with two alarms press

ALARM again.
The threshold for the low alarm appears.

4. Press any key to exit.

Setting a Normal Alarm

Follow the procedure below for instructions on setting a standard high or low
alarm threshold. Specific instructions for setting the barometric pressure and
dew-point alarm are explained separately below.

1. Press the appropriate key(s) to display the desired weather condition.

2. Press ALARM as necessary to display the desired alarm threshold.

3. Use ENTER to set the alarm.

If you want to enter a negative number (-10, for example), you must first
enter the number without the negative sign. Then press and release ENTER
to return to the first available digit in the entry. Press and hold ENTER to
cycle through the choices for that digit, one of which will now be a negative
sign (-).

4. Press any function key to save and exit.

Example of Setting an Alarm—Low Outside Temperature Alarm

This example shows you how to set the Energy EM’s low outside temperature
alarm to 32˚F.

1. Press TEMP as necessary to display outside temperature.

3. Press ALARM twice to display the low alarm threshold.

The high alarm threshold appears first, then the low alarm threshold.
