Selecting Units of Measure
To select the desired unit of measure for heating degree-days, simply press
UNITS while viewing any of the heating degree-days displays (except Auto-
Clear). As you press UNITS, the Energy EM alternates between F and C. All tem-
perature information (including cooling degree-days, temperature, apparent
temperature, and dew-point) will appear in the units of measure you select.

Setting Heating Degree-Days Threshold
You may change the heating degree-days threshold, if necessary.
1. Press HEAT’G D-DAYS as necessary to display the heating degree-days threshold.

2. Press UNITS as necessary to select the desired unit of measure.
3. Use ENTER to set the threshold to the desired temperature.
4. Press HEAT’G D-DAYS to save the entry.
Clearing Daily Heating Degree-Days Sum
You may clear the daily heating degree-days sum or the daily wind chill heat-
ing degree-days sum at any time to begin a new “daily” heating degree-days
total.
1. Press HEAT’G D-DAYS as necessary to display the desired heating degree-days sum.
2. Press and hold down CLEAR until the heating degree-days sum resets to zero.
