6.5 Searching the Directory
Use the Search menu to easily find businesses or points of interest such as
gas stations, restaurants, hotels, banks, and more. Tap the Search icon on
the Main menu to open the Search menu.
To find a business or point of interest
1. On the Search menu, do one of the following:
• Tap Spell Name to enter the
name of the place you want
to find.
• Select a category:
Food/Coffee, Gas Stations,
Gas by Price, Banks/ATM,
Hotels/Motels, or Parking.
• Tap Other to access the
whole directory.
Depending on which option you have chosen on the Search menu,
either the Directory or Search screen will then appear.
2. On the Directory screen, a plus sign indicates that there are more
categories to choose from. To narrow down the search, browse
through the directory and select a category.
3. On the Search screen, tap Near. Select Current Location to search
near your current position or select Somewhere Else to specify the
location where the place is near to, and then tap Search.
