6.4 Navigating to a Street Address
Follow the steps below to navigate to a street address starting from your
current location.
1. Tap the Drive To icon on the
Main menu, and then tap the
Address icon.
2. On the Address screen, tap
Type It.
3. In the Address field, enter the
street number and name. Also
enter the city and the state or
zip code.
Tip To perform a city search, leave the Address field blank and just type in a
city name.
4. If there are several addresses that closely match the address that you
entered, a selection list will be displayed. Browse the list and select
the desired address.
5. The Trip Confirmation screen then appears, displaying the destination
address and a countdown. To skip the countdown, tap Go.
Tip By default, TeleNav GPS Navigator starts the navigation from your
current location. If you want to change your point of origin to another
location, tap Menu > Change Origin to open the Drive From screen and
choose where to start from. The options on the Drive From screen are
almost the same as the ones on the Drive To screen.
6. On the Select Route Style
screen, choose the type of
route to take.
7. The screen then changes to
the 3D Moving Map view. You
can now start navigating on
the road.
