Monitoring the SA controller, StoreOnce 2620, 4210/4220, and 4420/4430
This section contains a list of the SA (Smart Array) RAID controllers. The number corresponds to
the slot location in the server.
The following installed hardware components are included under the tree hierarchy for the RAID
controller:
•
sa_battery_cap: battery capacitor
•
sa_cache: cache module
•
sa_enclosure_x: the enclosure
The rolled up status of all controller components is reported as either Good or Degraded. If the
status is Degraded, drill down into the individual components for more information or use the
Hardware Problem Report to identify the faulty component.
Enclosure
There is always one enclosure for the internal storage.
