Operations
This chapter describes Siz windows and dialog boxes and Siz operations using those windows and
dialog boxes.
Before you perform Siz operations, make sure you have at least one normally functioning microprocessor
for the CU group 0. If you do not have one normally functioning microprocessor, all the commands that
change the pair status (such as the commands that create or delete a pair) will be rejected and you can
only display the windows and dialog boxes and reference the pair status.
For information about how to check the status of the microprocessors, call the HP technical support.
Hitachi ShadowImage™ for z/OS Main Window
The Siz main window displays the Siz volume and pair information for the selected CU image of the
connected HP StorageWorks XP12000 storage system and allows you to perform all Siz operations. To
open the Siz main window, connect to the desired HP StorageWorks XP12000 storage system from the
Remote Web Console, and then click the Siz button ( ) on the Remote Web Console main window.
There are five tabs on the Siz main window: Main, History, Options, CTG, and FCv2 tabs.
