Concurrent Copy (CC)
The storage system is functionally compatible with the IBM 3990 Concurrent Copy (CC) function.
Concurrent Copy operations are performed in the same manner as Compatible XRC operations, by
issuing Compatible XRC TSO commands from the host system to the storage system. Concurrent Copy
can also be used in conjunction with Siz to provide multiple copies of volumes at both your main
(primary) and remote (secondary) sites.

NOTE:
HP StorageWorks for Compatible Replication XRC, CC operations, and TrueCopy Asynchronous require
additional cache to store the asynchronous record sets. If you are performing HP StorageWorks for
Compatible Replication XRC and/or CC operations in addition to TrueCopy Asynchronous on the same
storage system, you must make sure that the storage system has adequate cache installed and available
to support the asynchronous copy workloads. Contact your HP account representative to determine how
much cache you will need for your configuration.
