NOTE:
The relationship expansion function allows you to increase the maximum number of relationships that
can be created by using FlashCopy Mirror V2.
•
FlashCopy V2 Relationships displays the information about the FlashCopy Mirror V2 relationships
in the volume list. You can select information displayed in this volume list by using CU drop-down
list and the check boxes explained in
• CU drop-down list allows you to select the CU containing volumes that you want to display in
the volume list.
• The check boxes allow you to select the type and status of the volumes which you want to
display in the volume list. Table
on page 72 shows the features of each check box.

• The volume list displays the information about the volumes that form the FlashCopy Mirror
V2 relationships. You can select the volumes displayed in this volume list by using CU
drop-down list and the check boxes above.

The OK button closes the FlashCopy Information dialog box.
Setting the Reserve Attribute
The Set Reserve Attribute dialog box (see
on page 73) allows you to set the reserve attribute for
(i.e., reserve) the volume(s) selected on the Siz main window. To open the Set Reserve Attribute dialog
box, select one or more unreserved simplex volumes in the Volume List on the Siz main window, right-click
the mouse, to display the pop-up menu and then click the Change Reserve command.
NOTE:
The reserve attribute is only required for Siz Remote Web Console operations. The PPRC commands
require that the potential T-VOLs are offline to the host, but do not require that the T-VOLs have the
reserve attribute setting.
