Communication Settings
The communication settings affect the E-mail, Debug and any other features in
FCArray Assistant using the modem port. In the Settings dialog box, under the
Communication tab, you have the option to do any of the following (see
Figure 4-19):

Baud Rate - Select the appropriate baud rate for the communication
hardware.

Port - Select the COM port connected to the communication hardware.
•
Parity - Select the type of parity for communication sessions: None, Even,
Odd, Mark, and Space.
•
Stop Bits - Select the number of stop bits required for communication
sessions: 1, 1.5, and 2.
•
Data Bits - Select the number of data bits required for communication
sessions: 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
