4-3 Storage Array Commands

4-3-1 AddArrayReservation
AddArrayReservation
locks the target storage subsystem (see
Table 4-8
).
When a storage subsystem is locked, you can execute storage array commands and LUN commands. You can
execute the GetStorageArray command even if another user is locking the storage subsystem. If you do not
change the configuration of the storage subsystem or execute the ModifyArrayReservation command
within five minutes after locking the storage subsystem, the storage subsystem will be unlocked.
NOTE:
You cannot use the GUI to operate a storage subsystem when it is locked. If you want to operate a
locked storage subsystem, use the CLI commands.
