and verify that every user to whom you want to grant Insight Orchestration access is a member
of the appropriate user group in Windows: HPIO_Administrators, HPIO_Architects, HPIO_Users.

Configuring server pools
Insight Orchestration server pools are groups of resources that Insight Orchestration users use
to submit requests to create new infrastructure services or add to existing infrastructure services.
Before initiating a request for the first time, a new server pool must be created and users must
be assigned to it. When starting up Insight Orchestration for the first time, there are two pools
automatically generated. The Unassigned pool contains all resources previously discovered by
HP Insight Dynamics and the Maintenance pool contains resources that have failed. These pools
are available only to users in the HPIO_Administrators group, and cannot be used for
infrastructure service creation.
Insight Orchestration automatically populates the Unassigned pool after installation with the
resources identified by Systems Insight Manager. Physical resources are only available after a
VCD Group is correctly created in VCEM. Insight Orchestration updates the information each
hour. After you update the available resources, click Refresh to see your updates immediately.
